Herbal medicine, energy work, and intuition are time‑honoured ways of healing. Humans evolved alongside plants; our bodies recognize and respond to their chemistry. It’s natural then to understand that the medicine plants offer is part of who we are—like a vital food group we’ve forgotten, restoring what is already within.

We trust the body’s miraculous capacity to heal and the intelligence that moves through all things. Plant wisdom meets human wisdom here—rooted, relational, alive. To receive plant medicine is to remember our belonging. It is the simple, generous act of returning to what has always supported us.

My Journey

Dani Ortman, Registered Clinical Herbalist, Angelica Herbal

My name is Dani Ortman, and I am a Registered Clinical Herbalist (AHA), Certified Intuitive Coach, a practitioner of energy medicine and founder of Angelica Herbal. In 2025, I graduated with highest honours from Pacific Rim College, completing over 500 clinical hours and more than 1,200 hours in biomedical sciences and Western herbal sciences.

As a lifelong student of ancient wisdom traditions—beginning with early experiences of intuitive knowing and celestial resonance—I have studied plant spirit medicine, intuition, and energy work. Before stepping fully onto the path of the healing arts, I spent 15 years mastering my craft as a handweaver, specializing in textile arts and plant-based dyes.

My personal journey is grounded in practices such as Vipassana meditation, dreamwork, breathwork, womb awakening, soul retrieval, and mindfulness practices. I believe that learning is a lifelong process, and I thoughtfully integrate new skills and insights in order to more fully support my clients on their own multidimensional healing journeys.
